Nominations for Local Lodge 1782 Committee Persons were held at the membership meeting Wednesday, November 3, 2021. The nominees were as follows:
UA-SFO Lori DeLeon
UA-SMF Marcelina Villalobos
UA-RNO Brenna Ripsom
UA-SJC Mary Masucci
Greg Huang (ineligible)
In determining eligibility to run for the Officer Position of Committee Person, Local Lodge 1782 must comply with the Local Lodge Bylaws specifically stated in Article IV- Election of Officers, Section 13. Fifty (50) percent of membership meeting attendance is required unless a written excuse is provided to the Recording Secretary.
Greg Huang was nominated to run for LL1782 UA-SJC Committee Person; however, was deemed ineligible to run for this position according to our meeting attendance records of the bylaw requirements.
The following candidates won the LL1782 Committee Person position by acclamation; therefore, an election in December will not be necessary: UA-SFO Lori DeLeon, UA-SMF Marcelina Villalobos, UA-RNO Brenna Ripsom and UA-SJC Mary Masucci. Congratulations to the candidates!
